I Believe in Father Christmas

This is my all time favourite Christmas song. Written by Greg Lake of Emerson, Lake and Palmer, and recorded in 1974. It was apparantly written by Lake in protest to the commercialism that surrounded Christmas. Enjoy!

Hey ~ haven't heard that song for many years! Good one ~ I wonder if anyone has ever done a 'remake' of it? Hmmm...might have to look that up!

Hope you are getting some warmer weather now ~ we are supposed to tomorrow! Fingers crossed hope hope hope!

I didn't think I had ever heard that song until I listened and then I do remember it! It's been many, many years ago though!

I don't think I've heard this song before, but I do favor the original Christmas songs over remakes!

Ooooh, I like that song. I like the unique ones better than the overplayed tired ones. Good choice!

Wow I remember this one, both the video and the song. Yes I'm that old, giggle. It's lovely, what a great find. Thank you for posting. Hugs!

Thank you for sharing this!! It vaguely sounded familiar. I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one that remembered Emerson, Lake and Palmer.

I am going to use it on my blogs. Of course, I will like back to you!!!
