During our stay in England, we ventured over to the east coast, visiting Filey and Brighton, and spending five days in Hastings, where my sister lives. Spending time at the seaside, as the Brits say, was fabulous!
Needless to say, the North Sea is very cold!
Brighton on the south east coast was lots of fun! We strolled along the famous Brighton Pier, and had a great day walking around this seaside town. The water that day was actually this very pretty aqua green color.

It's beautiful there and such a different coast than ours although it's chilly here too. A blog friend lives in Sidmouth which is a coastal town in the U.K. and between her photos and yours, I do hope to visit England one day and see it all myself!

I cant believe I missed your visit to our small island!!! Brighton as well which I always visit once a year at least as its my favourite seaside town and is on our direct train line through London. I was down there only last week and visit the bead shops in the North Laines area, which is where all the antique shops are too!!
So sorry I missed your visit!!
