Naming those bracelets!

I am waaaay too busy right now getting ready for the Beyond Artisan show, on May 1 and 2! I need your help naming these  new designs that I made for that show.  Please have a look at the following designs, and then see the info below for earning a discount in my Etsy shop for helping me out!
First up a couple of bracelets in a new design that I am trying out, a sort of "Pandora" style.

This next one uses some fabulous vintage  Miriam Haskell glass beads in vanilla and apricot,  vintage pale pink glass disks, crystals, gold vermeil and a Venetian glass heart in a very soft palette for Spring.

Brushed sterling beads and assorted  vintage Swarovski crystal beads in jewel tones make this one super blingy!

This one is in a similar style, but more neutral. Here I used glass beads in a smoky gray and clear color, mixed with vermeil gold and sterling silver.

Finally this sweet design with assorted charms, a sterling key, a druzy bezel  and a dangle of Aquamarine.

They all need names! I would love to hear your  suggestions for any of these designs. If I use your suggestion,  I will give you 10 % off one item
(sale or regular price) in my Etsy shop! Here are the rules:

1.The title must be a song title...any song!
2.If your song suggestion is used, I will notify you.
3.There can be more than one winner, there are 5 bracelets to name!
4.The  10 % discount must be used by Dec. 31, 2010.
Easy.... right! So get your thinking caps on, I am looking forward to hearing your suggestions!

Little pieces of the past

Things are pretty slow in my Etsy shop these days, I have found that my Christmas craft
shows have been very successful this season, whereas selling online has come to a complete halt. So here are some basic but very pretty bracelets that I am listing in my Etsy store later today, and to my blog readers only I am offering free shipping to Canada and the USA on anything in my shop until Dec.15. Just send me a convo through my Etsy store, that you read about free shipping on my blog and the shipping prices will be adjusted. These bracelets, are reasonably priced, for gift giving or party wearing. All three have some fabulous vintage beads combined with contemporary beads for an eclectic look. The flower on the black and pearl bracelet ("Dance the Night Away") is a fabulous vintage rhinestone, rhodium plated clasp probably from the 50's, and there are a couple of stunning vintage Swarovski crystals in that one as well. The bracelet that is completely silver("Heavy Metal"), combines ornate Bali beads, with some huge, rare, sparkling, vintage Swarovski, disco ball style beads. The feminine bracelet in pink, white and green ("Linger"), has some adorable vintage lucite beads in a pretty apple green color. "Dance the Night Away" and "Linger" will be listed at $52.00 USD, and "Heavy Metal" at $75.00 USD.

New creations to keep you entertained

I am going to be away for a few days as, we are heading out to our little getaway place on Vancouver Island, off of Canadas' west coast. So I hope to be inspired by all things west coasty...ocean, beaches, big trees, eagles, whales etc! In the meantime enjoy these new wire wrapped bracelets. See you in a week.
Oh ...the names are from top to bottom:"Summer Breeze", (Seals & Crofts) "Cowgirl in the Sand" (Neil Young) and "Salt of the Earth" (Rolling Stones), all classics!

Two Sweet designs

Hot off the press!!
My two newest bracelets , "Welcome to the Jungle" is the earthy looking triple strand bracelet, combining prehnite, labradorite, crystal quartz, Thai silver, and Swarovski crystals.
"The Candy Man", a song made famous by the late Sammy Davis Jr. is the name for the very colorful and more whimsical bracelet, that looks like jelly beans, gummies and hard candy. But don't eat it, because the jelly beans are really, carnelian, yellow and chartreuse chacedony, fabulous lampwork bead discs by artisan, Blue Healer, look like hard candies or sweets, and vintage apple green lucite beads replicate gummies! Finished with a sterling silver clasp containing a very sweet vintage cabachon! Yum!!
To be listed this week in my Etsy store:
"Welcome to the Jungle" for $130.00 US
"The Candy Man" for only $65.00 US

A Far Away Friend

Today, I was catching up on some of the blogs that I read regularly, and when I visited Rebecca Werners' blog, also known as Fira Marina, I noticed that she had posted some photos of three of my bracelets that I created incorporating the fabulous beads that she makes! I was so excited, as I am such a fan of her fabulous little works of art, that I felt so honored that she was pleased with the way in which I used her beads in my jewelry designs. Rebeccas' beads are very unique, and have a wonderful organic, yet funky feel to them. I love how she uses color as well. The neatest thing is that she is self taught, her designs are truly creations from her heart and soul. I feel very fortunate to have met Rebecca on line, and although I admire the artist that she is, I also feel that she is a great friend as well...even though we are thousands of miles apart....she is in Louisianna, USA and I am in Alberta, Canada. Thanks Rebecca! Pin It
