Aquamarine

Sea goddesses were said to cleanse aquamarine in the ocean, at night by the light of the full moon. Aquamarine which means "water of the sea", is a transparent form of beryl, related to the gemstone emerald, and is the birthstone for the month of March.

It is a lucky stone for sailors, keeping them safe at sea and warding off sea sickness. Aquamarine is supposed to bring the wearer peace by helping one to deal with anxiety, restlessness and fear.

This gorgeous blue green stone is also the anniversary stone for the 19th year of marriage, and it is said that if you wear this stone you will have a happy marriage full of love and affection!. Pin It

I'm finally able to open your blog without getting that dreaded IE error message and it closing. I kept seeing that first picture of this gorgeous piece and wanted so much to see the rest of it but it was certainly worth the wait! It's stunning! I love how you make it elegant yet casual and always unique. Beautiful!

Beautiful necklace. I love this stone especially the colour. Blue topaz is another favourite. I always enjoy my visits, hoping to pop in more often as I have been so naughty lately.

Gorgeous!
