The other day, I heard the weather guy on TV say that we were not quite half way through winter. What??? I wanted to cry. Ugh...it is only the end of January, and still several more months until Spring shows its face in my part of the world. This is the time of year where I start to crave color...everything has been very white, bare and brown for such along time....with the exception of the spruce trees...but I need a shot of color! So looking through my vast collection of photos, I thought I could cheer us all up with a little color therapy! Most are from my travels. Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend.

Amazing shots! Those flowers are gorgeous! I've never seen anything like the ones from near your house- so exotic looking to me.
Love your photos! I needed color but now I realize I need a tropical vacation too!
Beautiful color..the flower is outstanding~ and Doris's Beach Bar. what a kick :-)
Oh my eyes!!! Hee! Hee! Yeah, it's olive drab here too and very depressing. It's hard to see it like this for so long. That said, I don't even THINK about spring until March is over--otherwise I'm just sad.
Such wonderful color!
What is that pretty flower? It looks almost fuzzy ~ love it!
I think we need to move away from the prairie provinces if we want a shorter winter... :(
