The other day, I heard the weather guy on TV say that we were not quite half way through winter. What??? I wanted to cry. Ugh...it is only the end of January, and still several more months until Spring shows its face in my part of the world. This is the time of year where I start to crave color...everything has been very white, bare and brown for such along time....with the exception of the spruce trees...but I need a shot of color! So looking through my vast collection of photos, I thought I could cheer us all up with a little color therapy! Most are from my travels. Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend.

West Coast Island
I am back relaxed and inspired by the natural beauty of the west coast. I hope you enjoy these images from Vancouver Island in Spring and maybe, you will be as inspired as I was!
There are a lot of these "textured" rock formations along the coast in the gulf Islands. I love the cool patterns!
Taking a stroll at low tide, led me to these little sea creatures stuck to the rock.
Apple blossoms...so delicate and pretty !
I found these fish eggs washed up on the shore, and loved the color contrast of the intense red orange color of the fish eggs, against the neutral gray pebbles.
Rhododendrons in bloom in this fabulous lipstick red color...absolutely stunning!

Colors of the Caribbean
Hello to all my readers....I am finally back from a wonderful vacation in the tropical sun! It certainly was a marvelous adventure, visiting some amazing countries in the Caribbean. Yes, the water really is that pretty aqua blue color! I believe I am relaxed, rejuvenated and ready to get back to reality and designing once again. I must say a very special "Thank You!" to all my Entrecard friends, who continued to drop in on my blog while I was away. It certainly is very much appreciated! Now... hop aboard the banana bus, relax, sit back and take a trip to the tropics for free.
Here are my Colors of the Caribbean!

Complimentry Color Scheme
This color scheme is vibrant, exciting and stimulating! Colors opposite each other on the color wheel compliment each other and are bold and intense but balanced in designs. Don't be afraid to try this color scheme as the results are amazing! Remember, that you can use pastel and greyed down versions of these hues as well.
